I used to watch this movie when I was a kid and it had 2 guys and two chicks at the end of the movie and they are all sad that 1 of them has to move while they were in a restaurant reminiscing about the great summer they had. I want to say that “SUMMER” was in the title of the movie but I’m not sure? I remember 1 of the guys learning how to surf in the movie on two crates or something elevated up just like every other Hollywood movie that looks cheesy.lol I remember that there was a surfing contest in the movie that one of the two were practicing for. It has to be from the 70s I think because you could tell the people surfing were stunt surfers and the actors would just get head shots while surfing (you know what I mean…lol). All in all it was a really good movie and I can’t find it anywhere in the greatest surf movies? Can somebody please help me find the title? I know it takes place in the summer and there’s a love story along with great great friendships and a big surf contest at the end. I really can’t believe that this one isn’t a classic favorite either?

So I recently saw the trailer for the upcomming Dragon Ball Z movie “Dragonball Evolution”. Growing up my guy friends used to go on and on about the anime character; always drawing pictures of him and playng dbz video games.
Now I grew up in a reaaally white suburban neighbourhood so as a kid growing up I noticed when things were different- Like Dragon Ball Z being basicly the only asian hero out there in North America. Seeing the trailer I was excited, I’m not really into that stuff but it was fun to see something I grew up with comming back. Until I saw..that the role of Goku was being played by.. Justin Chatwin? Why is Hollywood using a white guy for the role of an asian? And how do you feel about it?

You know the stereotypical “I’m so awesome” rich teens in the movies. We don’t have any at my school and I was wondering if they really exist or if they are just a staple in Hollywood.
