What Are The Chances My Children Would Be Blonde?
I have dark brown hair and brown eyes. My skin is sort of pale but with an olive tone to it. My immediate family (mom, dad, etc..) all have the same dark hair, dark eyes. Except for my grandmother who is blonde and my one grandfather who has blue eyes. If I were to have children with a man with light skin, light blonde hair, and blue eyes.. are there any chances my children wouldn’t come out so dark? Or at least lighter?

Chances would be 1/4
If both your parents had dark hair and dark eyes chances are you inherited two dominant Bs (for brunette hair) gene…you had a roughly 1/4 chance of carrying the recessive b gene and thus you would have a Bb gene. If you had a child with a man who is blonde his code would be bb and assuming yours is BB, your child would no doubt be a brunette, if you carried the recessive and were Bb and he is bb then the child has a 3/4 chance of being blonde
