What 2 Disney Park Should We Do In One Day?
My husband and I are taking my 3 1/2 year old son to disney. We will be there Friday night through Monday. We are going to the disney parks Saturday and Sunday. We have two day park hopper passes. My question is.. which two parks should we do Sat, and which two parks Sun? For the weekend we are going.. the park hours are..
Magic Kingdom – Sat 9am-1am and Sun 9am-11pm
(until 2 am with extra magic hours.. but we will not be staying on property. we are staying in downtown disney)
Epcot – Sat 9am-9pm and Sun 9am-9pm
Animal Kingdom – Sat 9am-6pm and Sun 9am-6pm
Hollywood Studios – Sat 9am-7pm and Sun 9am-9pm
This will be my sons 3rd time to disney. We took him when he was 11 months and 2 years old. Both times we went to Magic Kingdom.. and we want to go again this time becasue its a nice park, but we also want to go to the others ones to let him see. I know everyone says its hard to do all in 2 days, but keep in mind we cant ride the big rides because he is to small.. he is 40 inches tall..(very tall kid) so he can do some big rides.. but not all. Thank you in advance for you help!

I’d go the the Animal Kingdom first thing in the morning. Spend a few hours and that’s all you’ll need there. Then I would spend the rest of the first day doing the Magic Kingdom. It’s open late and for a young child this is where the “real” Disney magic happens. Much more to do and see that will keep the young ones engaged at the Magic Kingdom.
Then I’d do Hollywood Studios early on day two selecting my attractions carefully so I hit all the peaks and skip all the valleys. Then I’d spend the evening at Epcot, especially if they still close the park with that spectacular fireworks and laser show over the lagoon.
It’s possible to do it all in two days but you just have to plan your agenda in advance and know that you can only do so many attractions in one day. There will be some that you will just have to pass on. It’s good that this isn’t your first visit so you won’t feel cheated if you have to skip some that you’ve already seen.

Sat – Magic Kingdom, then Animal Kingdom, then Epcot to walk around the worlds and see Illuminations.
Sun – Epcot then Hollywood Studios.
Conventional wisdom is that you have to go to Animal Kingdom in the morning to see the animals. We have a zoo where I live, so I don’t really care.
You need to get to the Magic Kingdom in the morning. You also need to be at Epcot in the morning if you want to ride Soarin.
It is going to be busy on a weekend. Have fun. Don’t get frustrated. It is supposed to be fun.

If you want to see fireworks, you will need to end both days at MK and Epcot. You should avoid MK on Saturday evening because it will have extra hours and lots of crowds and you cannot stay for extra hours because you stay off property. BTW, which DTD hotel, Hilton I believe has access to extra hours. Therefore your MK day is Sunday afternoon and your Epcot day is Saturday afternoon. DHS has extra hours on Sunday, if it combined with Fantasmic avoid park on that day and so go there Saturday morning, AK will be on Sunday morning then.
Summary:
—————
Saturday: DHS, Epcot
Sunday: AK, MK
Weekends are not best for MK at all but since you do not have more time, this is your best solution.

You may want to take a look at all of the rides at the different parks to make sure you even want to visit them all. It will also be a good way to determine how much time you want to spend at each park.http://www.orlandominivacations.com/disn…
If you still want to do them all, personally the way I would do it would be-
Saturday: Animal Kingdom (morning)/Hollywood Studios (evening)
To see all of the animals at Animal Kingdom you have to be there early, and you will blow through it pretty fast. Hollywood Studios has an amazing firework show (Fantasmic).
Sunday: Epcot (morning)/ Magic Kingdom (evening)
You wont want to miss the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. Take a look at the menus before you go so you can maximize on your time.http://blog.orlandominivacations.com/fun…
Then Magic Kingdom in the evening (on a Sunday night the lines will be a little shorter) and you will be able to catch both the Wishes firework show and the Spectromagic Parade.
Hope you enjoy your trip!
