How Many Children Are Sexually, Physically, Emotionally Abused, And How Many Are Neglected Each Year?
I’m doing an essay off child abuse, and i can’t find the amount of children sexually, physically, emotionally abused and neglected each year in america. Does anyone know, or know exacty where i can go to fine this information?

http://www.childhelp.org/resources/learn… To find an exact statistic is difficult because many cases are never reported. Most statistics are based off of child protective services. Check out the source listed.
I would add to your essay many cases are not reported (look up reasons they are not reported) http://www.childdeathreview.org You can always add media stories of cases not reported until it is to late.http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/03/1…

Sexual abuse estimates range something like 1 of every 4 female children, and 1 of every 6 male children before the age of 18 years. Sorry, I do not know where you would find the statistics for any of the above information. Good luck on your search.http://www.lib.umich.edu/govdocs/stsoc.h…
